What will it cost?

Beginning 1 March the WiSE Clinic will be increasing their facility fees

First Presentation

There is a $230* facility fee to access our Specialist Emergency Clinic. This is a flat fee. While at WiSE, Emergency specialist consultation and assessment , diagnostic imaging, blood tests, observation and any treatment necessary will be covered by Medicare.

Within 7 days representation

There is a $115* discounted facility fee if you return to us within 7 days for the same condition.

There is a $90 facility fee to access the WiSE Specialist Emergency Clinic when requiring return Intravenous antibiotic therapy. While at WiSE, Emergency specialist consultation and assessment , diagnostic imaging, blood tests, observation and any treatment necessary will be covered by Medicare.

Consumables

The cost of consumables may apply (fibreglass cast, CAMBOOTS, Crutches, Splints)

Acute care follow up Specialist Clinics

There is a $115* Facility Fee to access any of our Specialist Clinics. The cost of consumables may apply (fiberglass cast, CAMBOOTS, Crutches, Splints)

Physiotherapy

Eligible Private Health Funds available for HICAPS onsite.

If you have Extras in your Private Health then you may be eligible for a rebate. The amount of rebate you are entitled to depend on your level of cover.

Diagnostics

Radiology

Outpatient Radiology referrals. All our Radiology services, XRAY, CT, OPG and Ultrasound are bulk-billed with a valid GP or Specialist Referral.

In these circumstances, you will not be seen by a Specialist Emergency Doctor unless specified on presentation. Please make an appointment with your referring GP/Specialist to discuss your result.

Ultrasounds attract a $100 call-out fee.

Pathology

All our blood tests are bulk-billed with a valid GP or Specialist Referral. You will not be seen by a Specialist Emergency Doctor unless specified on presentation. Please make an appointment with your referring GP/Specialist to discuss your result.

Non-Medicare, Overseas/Student Insurance and Work Cover

Non-Medicare Patients

Payment is required at the time of presentation for all non-medicare patients. This includes all diagnostics; Radiology and Pathology, consumables, physician consulting and procedure fees.

Non-Medicare Patients with Travel insurance

In addition to the above, Non-Medicare patients with Travel insurance should claim costs directly with their insurer. Please inquire with your Insurer.

Bupa

Eligible BUPA overseas members are fully covered to use the Wise Specialist Emergency service.

WiSE has an agreement with Bupa (HI) that Bupa will pay the standard fees when accessing the Specialist Emergency service. This covers your immediate specialist consultation and assessment, diagnostic imaging and blood tests, observation and any interventions necessary.

Coverage for accessing Wise Radiology and Pathology when presenting with a valid outpatient GP/Specialist referral.

The cost of consumables (Crutches, Camboots, etc) will be at a cost to the patient.

Work cover

WiSE works with your employer to provide workcover injury support and is at no cost to the patient. Please speak to your employer regarding services at WiSE. On presentation, please ensure you have your claim number and the appropriate contact person details.
