WiSE Registered Nurse, Nicole Boughton will be participating in the Gear Up Girl bike ride on Sunday 11th March. This event is in celebration of International Women’s Day (8 March) and to educate people on the dangers of Heart Disease and the importance of regular exercise.

“Last November I participated in the 2017 MS Gong Ride and unfortunately a rider named John suffered a cardiac arrest. I did exactly what any good person would do and performed CPR on him until the Ambulance arrived. Thankfully he survived and made a good recovery! Him and his wife Louise were so grateful and asked me if I wanted to Louise’s team for the Gear Up Girl bike ride on Sunday 11th March to help support Heart Disease education and awareness.
