Telehealth consultation with our specialist emergency doctors

In light of the evolving situation regarding COVID-19, we understand that patient’s health and access to health may also be affected by Coronavirus, in response to this, we have released Telehealth consultation with our specialist emergency doctors.

WiSE wants to limit the exposure of patients and health professionals to the coronavirus as well as take pressure off our hospitals, while supporting self-isolation and quarantine policies.

Our specialist emergency doctors are available by Telehealth directly to patients, General Practitioners and Specialist Doctors.

If you are experiencing a life threatening condition or severe illness please call triple 0 or attend your local hospital emergency department.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Bookings

To arrange an audio-consultation please call 9216 7676 to speak with WiSE reception.

We will ask you for

  • Name
  • DOB
  • Address
  • Contact Number
  • Email address
  • NOK
  • Medicare card

By providing your medicare details, you consent to billing medicare on your behalf for the consultation

We will then provide you with an appointment time to speak with our Emergency Doctor. 

The exact time of call will be any time within the 30 minute time slot.

Our emergency doctor will call you at the allocated time.

Audio v Video Consult

In some circumstances our emergency doctor may suggest you engage in a video call.

What Next?

Following your consultation our specialist emergency doctor may suggest

  • You should book into the Respiratory Clinic. See more
  • Present to your local hospital or call triple 0
  • Present to the WiSE Clinic. See more
  • Out-patient Radiology or Pathology. 
  • Prescription. Please provide WiSE Reception with your local Pharmacist details and we will fax
